Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant in Alberta Canada in 2011Lily is a Licensed CPA Accountant in both the U.S. and Canada doing cross-border tax with many years of experience since 1998.

Lily is licensed to practice in front of the IRS. She is also one of few Certified Acceptance Agents in Edmonton allowed to certify Canadian passports for the IRS. She is appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in and for Alberta Canada by Alberta Justice Solicitor General as well.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where Lily earned her Master’s degree in Accounting, Lily has many years of public accounting and taxation experience.

She has experience acting in various taxation advisory capacities with KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte LLP, and Collins Barrow LLP where she has provided U.S. taxation, Canadian taxation and U.S.-Canada Cross-Border taxation services. She has been providing these services to corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, individuals, and non-residents. She also has experience analyzing U.S.-Canada tax treaties, identifying U.S.-Canada tax planning opportunities and consulting U.S.-Canada foreign assets disclosure requirements.

She is qualified as a Certified General Accountant in 2010 in Canada, obtained her U.S. Certified Public Accountant certificate in Illinois 2011. and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Program (level 1, 2 and 3) in 2013. She also completed her 2nd Master’s degree in U.S. Taxation from Golden Gate University in the U.S. in 2017.
